THE 7 ARCHETYPES OF THE MASCULINE & FEMININE

Have You Ever Felt Not ‘Masculine’ Enough or
Not ‘Feminine’ Enough?

We are always getting told what it means to be a "real man" or a "proper woman", but no one has meaningful conversations about what true, healthy masculinity and femininity looks like.

Not being masculine or feminine enough is an insecurity that so many people carry all by themselves because it’s not just embarrassing to admit, it’s also frustrating to feel like you can’t express how you truly feel deep down.

We’ve all heard phrases like ‘boys don’t cry’ or ‘it’s not ladylike to raise your voice’ but being conditioned to these norms just represses our masculinity or femininity.

There’s an epidemic of both men and women who are insecure in their own masculinity or femininity and it’s hurting and it’s so damaging to our confidence in our own self-image, identity, and sexuality. But the good news is we can end this cycle.

There is a way for you to deeply understand AND harness the power of masculine and feminine energy within you to create healthy emotional connections with yourself and other people. It all starts by understanding the archetypes of masculinity & femininity.

What Are Masculine & Feminine Archetypes and Why Are They Important?

Most people don’t know this but masculine energy consists of 7 separate archetypes and feminine energy consists of 7 separate archetypes.

Not knowing how to harness the powerful masculine/feminine energy inside you doesn’t just hurt your relationships, it hurts YOU.

When the feminine’s not secure in her femininity, it blocks her from unleashing her wild, passionate, and creative energy. It leads to boredom, burnout, deep unfulfillment, and lack of joy.

When the masculine’s not secure in his masculinity, he can either become passive, feminine, and uncertain in his purpose. He could also become too controlling and aggressive because he hasn’t learned to have power and have it under control.

But when you have deep self-awareness of where you stand with your own archetypes, it opens the door for both men and women to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and each other.

The reality is most relationships lack love and connection. It’s making us lonelier, less fulfilled and less confident in ourselves.

This is a gateway to confidently expressing your own needs, emotions, and desires to create deeper romantic love, passion, attraction, and lasting intimacy.

Are You Embodying Your Archetypes From A
Place of Fear Or Love?

While these archetypes live inside everyone, not all of us manifest them in healthy, compassionate ways.

Unfortunately it’s super common for both men and women to either repress some of their archetypes, or express their archetypes in unhealthy ways due to past trauma, unhealed inner wounds, or toxic societal conditioning.

For the feminine, this might manifest as repressing her Lover archetype because she doesn’t feel safe letting her walls down and exposing her vulnerabilities.

For the masculine, this might manifest as repressing his Warrior archetype if he has unhealed wounds from being belittled or emasculated. So many men silently carry these painful traumas which leads to them having less confidence in their own presence.

Every single archetype can manifest itself in either a love-based, empowering way that increases connection or a fear-based way that increases disconnection.

If you want to know how close you are to reaching true femininity or true masculinity, we created these charts for the feminine and masculine that breaks down the love-based and fear-based versions of each archetype:
